ok, i made a few mistakes today but still got an awesome deal!
the reach bogo coupons are coded to only attach to one item, this means we can also use a coupon on the second toothbrush.
the $1 off $10 oral care from the end of our receipts seems to be beeping for everyone. not sure what the reason is, but i would guess it was just coded incorrectly. hopefully your cashier would enter it manually like mine did.
this was an easy way to max out my oral care scr w/out even trying. i already had $21.65 towards the rebate, so i was qualified for the $5 gc wyb $15. the toothbrushes and toothpaste i bought today bring my total to over $25, which means i will get the $10 gc wyb $25 instead.
i didn't realize until afterward that the playtex coupon is for the gentle glide only but i picked up the sport instead! gentle glide is part of the +up deal too, so there is no reason not to use the coupon correctly.
i was looking for the crest 3d white 4 oz because it is part of the $1.50 +up deal as well as scr #54 for $2. the 3d white was sold out at my store, but i found the pro-health 4.2 oz which is part of the $1.50 +up deal and scr #55 for $1. the 3d white is a better deal, but the pro-health also works out to be free!
now don't ask me why i got 2 maybelline mascaras. i was only planning to get one, but somehow while i was shopping i got it into my head that i needed 2 of them and picked up 2. if i wanted 2 i would at least have brought another $1 man. coupon with me. i could try to return it, but when my transaction works out to a profit like this i think its much better to let a mistake like this go! the good thing about getting the second mascara is that it brought my subtotal to $10.05, so i was able to use my $10 +up.
if your store has these nivea creme tins, you can get them free! they ring up $.99 and $.49 w/ the bogo 50% off sale and they are part of the $2 +up wyb 2 deal!
oh and my last mistake... i used the $4 off $20 coupon when i meant to use a $5 off $25. since my original total was $29.04, i would rather have used a $5 off $25 and saved the $4 off $20 for a smaller order. but even with all the mistakes i made, this transaction still worked out to a profit of $11.86!
