the rumors have been circulating that rite aid is ending its +up rewards program! in my chat with customer service the rep would only say that there are changes coming soon, but no further details were available.
in other customer service chats, people were told that the program was ending! of course, i'm hoping it is only ending in that it is being replaced by something similar but better.
update 03/05: the rite aid ad for 03/29-04/04 reportedly has no +up deals advertised and no mention of any new loyalty program!

update 03/12: more info has come out from multiple sources that the new program will be called "plenti." it will allow customers to earn points that can be redeemed at mobil & macy's, possibly more retailers. enrollment will start around april 20th and the rollout is expected in may.
