wellness+ program and changes 01/2012

  • card is required to receive sale prices and +up rewards

  • one point is earned for each dollar spent on nonprescription purchases.

  • Earn 25 points for every prescription
    Prescriptions filled in NY/NJ are not eligible.

  • bronze members (new)
    after reaching 250 points receive 10% off Rite Aid brand products everyday and a one-time use 10% off shopping pass

    When used with a sale priced item the customer will receive the lower of the discount price or sale price.
    (until 2012, all card members received 10% off Rite Aid brand products. now we will have to reach 250 points to earn this discount.)

  • silver members
    after reaching 500 points receive 10% off all non-prescription points purchases everyday and choice of reward including a gym membership, health/fitness magazine subscription, or health screening.

    When used with a sale priced item the customer will receive the lower of the discount price or sale price.
    Anyone who reaches silver status by the end of 2011 will retain their status throughout 2012

  • gold members
    after reaching 1,000 points receive 20% off all non-prescription points purchases everyday

    When used with a sale priced item the customer will receive the lower of the discount price or sale price.
    Anyone who reaches gold status by the end of 2011 will retain their status throughout 2012



the rumors aren't true...

there were rumors about changes to the way +ups would work in 2012, but rite aid put those to rest on their facebook wall...

Julie Smith: Also heard that as of 2012 you will no longer be able to use your Rite Aide rewards dollars the same day. You need to wait 24 hours to use them.
